⇒ Guest Suite
Until 30 June 2026, the Guest Suite comprises three bedrooms and may be booked for up to five guests, plus infants under the age of two. Infants stay free of charge and do not need to be included in the guest count.
After this, Fiordland Eco-Retreat’s Guest Suite will be reconfigured into a spacious 50m² one-bedroom suite, accommodating up to two guests.
Guest Suite 3-Bedroom
- Available until 30 July 2026
- Approx. 110m2 / 1200 sq ft internal space
- Up to 5 guests in 3 bedrooms
- 1.5 bathrooms
Guest Suite 1-Bedroom
- Available from 1 August 2026
- Approx. 50m2 / 540 sq ft internal space
- Up to 2 guests in 1 bedroom
- 1 bathroom
No matter which size suite you book, the Guest Suite will also contain the following:
- Kitchenette
- Separate cosy lounge
- Stunning 260° panoramic lake and mountain views
- Central heating to keep you warm, even in the depths of winter.
- Free, unlimited WIFI
- Private hot tub (spa pool) and heated outdoor shower
- Large, private BBQ and outside dining area
- Large, flat front lawn
- Freeview TV (NZ’s standard channels) and Netflix
- Comfortable bed(s) with quality linen
- Black-out blinds / curtains in bedroom(s).

⇒ Eco-Villas
Two new luxury 50m² self-catering detached accommodation villas are scheduled to open in time for Summer 2026/27; they are available to book from November 2026, and will accommodate up to two adults in each. They will both have the same stunning panoramic lake and mountain outlook as our current Guest Suite. One will be fully mobility-accessible.

Minimum stay requirements: We usually have a 2-night minimum stay, but require a 3-night minimum stay over the 4-weeks from mid-December until mid-January. If our booking calendar shows shorter availability gaps, these should be bookable via our booking system.

Susanna was a wonderful host, very welcoming and warm. The hot tub gives views of mountains all afternoon and stars into the night. This place doesn’t even feel like real life 🙂“
