Guest Suite Reconfiguration
Our current 110m² three-bedroom Guest Suite will close at the end of June 2026 for reconfiguration.
From August 2026, it will reopen as a beautifully redesigned 50m² one-bedroom suite. While the layout will change to one bedroom and one bathroom, kitchenette and separate cozy lounge, it will retain the same high-quality amenities and facilities our guests value.
Our existing three-bedroom Guest Suite will no longer be available for bookings with stays from 1 July 2026 onward.
Eco-Villas Construction
From November 2026 (anticipated earlier completion of September – but taking November bookings for prudence in case of delays), we will also offer two brand-new, detached 50m² luxury Eco-Villas.
Fiordland Eco-Retreat will ultimately offer three luxury one-bedroom accommodation options in time for the 2026/27 season:
- 1 x reconfigured Guest Suite (adjoined to our family home – sound transfer has never been an issue)
- 2 x newly built, standalone Eco-Villas
The Eco-Villas are designed as adults-only accommodation to preserve tranquility. Babies in a portacot are welcome in the one-bedroom Guest Suite. Please note that we are unable to provide a trundle or rollaway bed for children in the reconfigured Guest Suite.
